The 585-hour master/journeyman electrician’s program consists of 4 modules delivered through distance education (correspondence). A proctored examination must be taken after completion of each module. Purchase courses by module.
This program fulfills all of the coursework required by the Maine Electricians’ Examining Board, including the minimum 126 hours of approved electives, to qualify to sit for the master or journeyman electrician’s examination.

* For students who wish to sit for the Limited to House Wiring electrician’s licensing exam after Module 2, the current NEC® course will be substituted for Introduction to Electronics. Electronics will be studied in a later module.
